Document Release Clerks exist to prepare Mortgage, Deed, and/or Assignment Release documents to County specifications.
Creates and maintains filing systems within an office and department environment.
Promotes the utmost responsibility by properly handling specialized documents and correspondence.
Maintains confidentiality by managing sensitive customer information.
Pulls original documents as needed with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
Maintains strong communication skills by corresponding with customers, attorneys, county officials, and other lending institutions.
Continues responsibility for (titles) once loan is paid off.
Completes minor title work as needed.
Contributes to team success by every day actions/decisions.
Promotes company image through professional service and actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Must be proficient in alpha and numeric filing.
Strong communication skills and penmanship a must.
Working knowledge of AS/400, Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
