Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an experienced Visual Productions & Bacchus Print Shop Manager to provide leadership to our visual productions team in our Promontory and Bacchus offices as well as our print shop at our Bacchus Utah location.

Role description &


The Visual Productions & Bacchus Print Shop Supervisor is responsible for leading the visual productions team in the creation of world-class videos and photos to promote our products, educate our customers and elevate employee morale. He or she will have opportunities to perform creative graphic design work while also leading the Bacchus print shop to ensure team members deliver products of the highest quality on time.

Job Duties

  • Supervise visual production team and Bacchus print shop employees.

  • Provide instructions, make assignments and assist team in delivering quality products on time to internal and external customers.

  • Set clear expectations for style and quality of work.

  • Establish and enforce standards for proper storage and documentation of acquired footage for use by other team members

  • Create graphic design elements for use in proposals, posters, internal communications and other requests.

  • Oversee the creation of a library of standard work.

  • Train new visual production employees.

  • Actively support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with Promontory print shop manager to ensure printing deadlines across both plants are met.

  • Supervise photographers at Bacchus and Promontory, and provide on-site leadership at Bacchus for department members (publications/print shop support and technical writer).

  • Provide instructions, make assignments and assist team in delivering quality products on time to internal and external customers.

  • Create and oversee proposal and other requested graphics, posters, etc.

  • Set clear expectations for style and quality of work and ensure adherence to brand standards.

  • Train and mentor new employees within area of responsibility.

  • Actively support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate on the Communications and Media Services leadership team to ensure the various teams are working together to deliver products that exceed customer expectations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 9 years of related experience.

  • Experience in managing diverse teams at various locations.

  • Graphic design experience

  • Travel expectation of less than 10%

Experience Preferred:

  • Detailed knowledge of Northrop Grumman's programs and products a plus.

  • Prefer candidate have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory/ management experience.

  • Experience with the procurement process is helpful but not required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.

  • Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture.


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, photography, graphic design or related field required.

The MIT is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store to include: * Overall store retail/commercial management, supervision, and policy implementation * Financial management – manage, analyze and reconcile monthly P&L statements * Employee staffing, training, and development * Inventory management * Customer service leadership MITs are also responsible for completing operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business and AutoZone culture. MITs must maintain satisfactory performance and must demonstrate consistent progression through the training program in order to remain in the pipeline role and be considered for management openings. Note: Selection for the MIT position does not guarantee promotion into a Store Manager/Commercial Sales Manager position. Whether and when an MIT is actually promoted to management is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to performance and availability of management openings.
