Job Summary: This position is responsible for the overall appearance of the store.

This includes CAD furniture, placement, setting displays, inventory control, tagging, receiving and replenishment of product and all other store standards. Accountable for the overall performance of the floor support and custodians. Key

Job Responsibilities:

Processes all merchandise arriving. Checking in transfer trucks and checking off accessory purchase orders. Keeping organized and accurate files.

Execute all projects from merchandising and store design by deadline assigned. Setting the floor to CAD moving furniture and accessories. Executing promotions, placing all promotional material and signage.

Tagging and maintaining tagging standards. Keeping up with the Clearance center, ensuring it is tagged, full and organized. Manage weekly transfers, process shipments, tagging and placement on floor per CAD plan.

Making sure the Floor is guest ready every day. CAD placement with floor moves and designing the vignettes and rug placements. Manage Floor Support and Housekeeping weekly/daily duties to ensure tasks are being completed.

Manage receiving accessories PO's, printing paperwork, counting for inventory purposes, makes proper tagging and places product on floor according to standard CAD and styling guide. Supervises the work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standard, training staff and overseeing their productivity. May offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments, but does not have responsibility for making these decisions.

Working Supervisor: Smaller Department; primarily functions as a working supervisor. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Preferred Associate Degree minimum in Merchandising and or Design Experience in Merchandising and some interior design preferred. Work requires following a limited variety of clearly prescribed standard practices involving application of rules, processes and procedures. Problems are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation.

Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, and general precedents and practices. Performs duties within scope of general policies, procedures and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments.

Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures and practices.

Refers exceptions to policy and procedures to the supervisor. Analytical: Ability to make decisions concerning floor moves, product knowledge and placement Project/Process Management: Ability to do multiple tasks or projects at one time and keep deadline.

Computer/Technical: Ability to use computer programs and systems within the company. Intermediate Office/Administrative Support.

Equipment Operation: Ability to move furniture, use two wheelers, move carts, tools, etc. Written and Oral Communications: Ability to communicate with supervisors and other management and employees.
