DAVACO's Brand Merchandising Division services soft/hard line clients, ranging from fashion apparel, footwear, and accessories.

Job Description

As a member of the Brand team your job will encompass different levels of responsibility that commands professionalism and confidentiality. Below is a partial list of responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Promote DAVACO services through upholding store relationships and providing pertinent feedback to the client.

  • Provide Quality Control check on assigned projects and follow program reporting parameters.

  • Build business relationships with DAVACO client base as required.

  • Communicate with Program Manager regarding all client concerns, challenges and opportunities on assigned projects.

  • Develops a cost-effective plan for short-term program or project execution following logical patterns to meet completion dates.

  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability; ability to prioritize work, maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situations.

  • Must be able to plan, execute and close out multiple projects or tasks in short periods of time to the satisfaction of the supervisor and/or client.

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and meets challenges with resourcefulness; ability to problem solve, with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.

  • Partner with Project Manager to review project completion implementing best practices for application during future projects.

  • Be adept at critical analysis and problem-solving skills to navigate on-site hindrances to project execution.

  • Prepare, submit and provide reports for each visit and submit via DAVACO's web-based portal. Clear before and after photos of completed work are required for each visit.

  • Ability to provide excellent and timely written and verbal communication.

  • Thoroughly understand and ability to read, comprehend and execute planograms, project floor plans and visual merchandising plans.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a retail environment is essential.

  • Soft-line merchandising expertise in a department/specialty store environment.

  • Must be detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and proven leadership skills. Strong customer service skills are imperative.

  • Dependable, with a strong work ethic.

  • Consistently conduct self in professional, safe and courteous manner conducive to open retail environments in front of client and client's customers.

Required Background

  • 3-5 years of experience in fashion merchandising retail setup.

  • Neat and well groomed.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Current portfolio within the last 5 years

  • Be able to read and execute a planogram/guideline.

  • Mannequin dressing and maintenance

  • Comfortable working in both a department store and standalone retail environment

  • Able to report through company surveys with a prompt and professional manner.

  • Fluent in English both written/spoken

  • Able to build and maintain professional relationships across a multitude of partner

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Computers, Smart Phone, etc. and ability to use similar or equivalent technology, such as DAVACO technology, as it pertains to collecting and communicating data.

  • Good to have an own vehicle or valid driver's license

  • Physical ability: must be able to work on your feet for several hours at a time, lift 25 pounds, climb ladders and manipulate fixtures

Major Duties & Responsibilities: * Searches Listing File for contract Documentation Reviews Transaction Desk docs * Solely responsible for the accuracy of processing the deal files from the time the deal is entered to closing * Enters data into Broker Wolf * Confirms that all required documentation are in Transaction Desk * Follows up with agents if missing items * Corrects the TRS * Follow Transaction Desk procedure as outlined by the Team Lead * Enters information into Broker Wolf * Enters deposit check in Broker Wolf and verifies the deposit * Ensures that cheque has been deposited into the trust account on time & correctly * Transaction reporting * Confirms commissions with other brokerage * Send conveyance docs to notary or lawyer as necessary * Print Weekly/Monthly List of Contracts Closing and Follow up on Outstanding * Report outstanding issues to Agents and Provincial Administrator Broker * Tracks all closings and follows up on cheques that have not arrived. * Verify MLS data * Ensures final sign off by Provincial Administrator Broker * Complete weekly flash reports as they pertain to # of sales and listings on a weekly basis * Conducts Conveyance Operations Orientation: Teaching how to use Transaction Desk * Notify Agent Services of First Sales and 100% Sales * Determine monthly award winners by production * Determine numbers for Monthly Awards and give to Agent Services * Assist with the monthly newsletter Education, Knowledge and Skills Requirements: * High School Diploma/GED required * 1+ years of experience in real estate transactions processing required * Computer experience essential * Legal Real Estate conveyancing experience strongly preferred * Basic knowledge of the Canadian Real Estate Transaction requirements & provincial processes * Knowledge of Excel, Transaction Desk, Publisher, PowerPoint, Lone Wolf an asset * Must be responsible, dependable and trustworthy * Task-oriented, organized, pays attention to details, follows systems, team-worker * Ability to build relationships with agents, lawyers, notaries, Managing Broker * Works well under time restraints eXp Realty is an equal employment opportunity employer.
