The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is seeking a Visual Field Technician. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Physician and Optometrist by gathering data pertaining to the patients visual field, and maintaining an environment conducive to the delivery of efficient, quality eye care. The individual in this position will provide diagnostic ophthalmic test/assessment procedures to ensure quality care to the patients and support for the Physicians by providing medical treatment and medical care services.
The minimum requirements are as follows: High School diploma or equivalent required.
One year of relevant work experience in a medical setting. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
