Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the execution of the Retail creative vision and Visual merchandising strategies to ensure a consistent brand experience across all markets and stores. This position also supports the field MSM teams in delivering brand right business solutions that help drive sales and GM.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Assumes leadership role for directing visual merchandising team in merchandising and display execution and ensures brand and visual merchandising consistency through completion of store visits

• Work with Creative Manager to resolve merchandising challenges that require adaptations including store size, store type, volume, and inventory levels.

• Develops, maintains and distributes all visual merchandising SOPs, planograms, new visual/merchandising strategies. Direct Visual Merchandising department in weekly to-dos.

• Guide the Visual Team in execution of standards developed by Creative Manager to encourage increased sales.

• Provides significant feedback, ideas and insight on current and future floor sets, seasonal strategies, and product selections.

• Identifies, builds and assess visual management talent. Actively participates in the management talent selection and training process.

• Understand how to read and develop critical reports, analyze business results, and apply knowledge, linking visual merchandising and presentation to drive and improve overall business results.

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key cross-functional business partners, including but not limited to, Sales Team, Marketing, Buying, Store Operations and Field, impacting overall business metrics, sales, profit and conversion.

SCOPE & IMPACT:

This role will oversee the execution of brand standards and visual merchandising strategies for all retail stores nationwide.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Marketing or Merchandising, with 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

• Travel Required: Up to 50%

• Required to be in Monroe Office Up to 25% of Total Time

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)

• Experience in sales and/or margin analysis

• Experience in CAD and/or Photoshop

• Experience in spatial design and/or store merchandise layout design

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Up to 4-6 direct reports and 14-20 indirect reports

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Specific physical and/or environmental demands are an essential part of the job. Often required to sit, use repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, balance, reach overhead, pull, push and lift up to 20 pounds. Seldom required to 30 pounds or more. Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
