EXPLO drives educational innovation, returning curiosity and exploration to teaching and learning so that every child can thrive. To support our initiatives, we are growing our team and searching for an experienced Visual Designer to be a creative partner and aid in the evolution of EXPLOs brand, creative platform and digital environments by working with internal and external stakeholders to build out a diverse set of offerings.

As our Visual Designer, you will develop designs based on user needs, business goals, and branding guidelines. Primary responsibilities include creating the concepts, artwork and layouts for digital projects based on creative briefs, and working within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce the brands style and voice through its visual touchpoints.

Requirements

Qualifications for Success:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Sketch and its integration with InVision
  • Keen eye for visual principles and execution in products and marketing campaigns
  • Ability to maintain high creative quality and strong attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Accomplished designer in all mediums; print, digital, video, environmental, etc. with a current understanding of digital design best practices
  • Excellent layout, design and typography skills across all mediums
  • Ability to select and/or create meaningful icons, photography, and/or illustrations
  • Proficiency in lay out of balanced digital pages that showcase the brand, considering mobile first as design standard
  • Capable of translating insights and information into visually compelling information graphics, such as, journey maps, infographics, brochures, and marketing material
  • Collaborative spirit where work is shared early and often to seek out constructive feedback from team members and leads
  • Skilled at working across organizational boundaries and external agencies to influence and deliver results
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to meet business and product deliverables
  • 3+ years of experience working with a consumer brand
  • Experience designing for building brand value through design in eCommerce environment

Must be authorized to work in the United States. No relocation available. Position is currently fully remote and may continue to be partially remote, however, this position is based in Norwood, MA. EXPLOs office is within walking distance of the commuter rail station and downtown Norwood, and the bus stop is right out our front door.

VIEW JOBS 2/26/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-27T00:00 The Role: We seek a highly skilled and motivated Engineer/Scientist with a strong background in Drug Product (DP) development, particularly late-stage, in the biopharmaceutical/biotechnology space, to work in Moderna's drug product development team within Technology Development. The team is responsible for pharmaceutical aspects of Moderna's sterile product development with activities ranging from leading the definition of qTPP to supporting label development. The team remit includes product definition, composition development, clinical operations support, technology transfer and scale-up as well as clinical/commercial production of Moderna drug products. Our team's goal is to implement and support robust clinical/commercial manufacturing processes. The specific role has a greater focus on late stage aspects, but as a senior member of the team, the incumbent is expected to have a good understanding of product development requirements and be able to represent drug product development on project teams. This role requires working closely with, and leading teams as required, with Analytical Development, Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, Manufacturing (internal and external), Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory and Program Management functions as well as with external CMO teams. The incumbent will have the opportunity to be responsible for direct reports and thus help develop and coach high-performing team members. Applicants should have strong experience in aseptic processing related activities such as process development and tech transfer, but also have a well-rounded holistic understanding of product development. Ideal candidates should have prior demonstrated experience in technology transfer / scale-up of clinical/commercial drug product processes. The applicant should be able to apply sound scientific understanding and technical skills to guide process development including experimental work, lead trouble shooting investigations as well as process improvements. These skills should be complemented with a track record of excellent written and oral communication skills and experience operating within a Quality Management System. Understanding o regulatory requirements and experience with regulatory filings is a must. Success in this role requires strategic development skills as well as strong scientific and technical skills, ability to work hands-on, ability to collaborate, and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Here's What You'll Do: * Serve as drug product lead on projects. * Serve as drug product technology transfer lead for scale-up and technology transfer to CMOs as required. Serve as person-in-plant, where applicable. * Design and execute detailed experiments using appropriate scale down models, QbD principles and process characterization/modeling techniques to develop and trouble shoot specific unit operations. * Interface extensively in a matrixed environment with manufacturing teams, tech services at CMOs, as well as Quality and Supply chain organizations * Identify gaps in knowledge, develop and execute experimental protocols regarding drug product process needs. * Support development of processes suitable to ensure long-term stability of bulk and vialed drug product. * Provide subject matter expertise on complex aseptic liquid and lyophilization applications. * Serve as subject matter expert on particulate control and visual inspection processes across Moderna's fill/finish operations. * Ensure that assigned processes are cGMP compliant and are designed to meet the regulations of the U.S FDA and the EMEA. * Assist with Regulatory submissions * Other responsibilities as assigned Here's What You'll Bring to the Table: * PhD with a minimum of 5 years, MS with a minimum of 8 years or BS with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience in the biopharmaceutical/biotechnology space. Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related Scientific/Engineering field preferred. * Demonstrated understanding of broad drug product development requirements. * Demonstrated background of technology transfer, scale-up, as well as technical support to commercial manufacturing processes. * Experience with mature quality management systems, deviation management, change controls and CAPA implementation, as well as regulatory submissions * Experience with design of experimental studies to support process development such as filtration, shear, agitation, freezing etc. * Good knowledge of relevant FDA, EU, ICH guidelines and regulations. * Good knowledge of GMP regulations, Process Validation/Qualification principles, and aseptic processing principles * Preferred: Hands-on experience with aseptic lyophilization and aseptic filling of pre-filled syringes * Ability to collaborate in a dynamic, cross functional, fast-paced environment.
