The Brand Experience Team creates unique and multi-dimensional experiences at every point of contact with our customers by:

  • Driving awareness of the core distinctions of our brand

  • Deepening our relationships in the marketplace

  • Effective merchandising, visual presentation and education

  • Acting as brand activators

  • Training sales ambassadors

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Facilitating Leader of In-Store Brand Experience, the Visual Creative Production Manager will be responsible for collaborating with creative teams on an aesthetic vision for Eileen Fisher's in-store experience at all levels. In this role you will work across teams to ideate, develop, project manage, and execute creative projects. You will be responsible for executing innovative experiences that are reflective of EF's values and vision. The ability to juggle multiple projects effectively, between working on large scale creative projects (retail store tests, showrooms, and seasonal campaigns) and managing the production of creative collaborations with designers, producers, and copywriters to execute the creative vision to completion is paramount.

The Visual Creative Manager will lead, grow and develop associates within the Visual Production area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership

  • Work with the creative and marketing teams to develop campaigns and creative projects that will bring Eileen Fisher to new audience.

  • Collaborate with the Facilitating Leader of In-Store Brand Experience to set visual direction for all stores in retail and wholesale locations, showroom locations and special events.

  • Create strategic window strategy, across concept, flagship and core stores, to elevate the brand and engage with consumers.

  • Ideate new in-store experiences to change the conversation about EF with the consumer.

  • Perform creative research to develop and foster new ways of speaking within DTC channel, including small fixtures, video, images and signage.

  • Build creative presentations for marketing team partners on topics including seasonal direction, events, and marketing initiatives.

  • Project Execution

  • Manage the design and development process of graphics, copy, and art for all creative projects.

  • Create seasonal strategic plans with Visual Merchandising partners to ensure effective messaging to meet revenue and story telling goals.

  • Act as the liaison between the Facilitating Leader of In-Store Brand Experience and creative production teams.

  • Hire and manage creative and production freelancers on an as needed basis.

  • Work with store design and development on all current projects and keep accurate records on in-store messaging opportunities.

  • Manage all creative budgets effectively.

  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Required Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent work experience preferred.

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of related experience in visual production, luxury experience preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience leading and coaching a team.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe INdesign required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.

  • Strong, energetic, clear communicator.

  • A proven track record of retail success that showcase a high level of creativity and vision.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team and have the flexibility to change direction based on customer/business needs.

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, concept-driven environment and model the EILEEN FISHER philosophy.

This role will oversee the fast-paced seasonal launch cycle of fixture updates as well as support new door openings and retail installations. Additionally, the Project Manager owns the timelines and will work closely with Marketing, Creative, GBSC and regional design teams to align in the vision and ensure that projects move swiftly and efficiently. The Manager will help ensure excellence and on time delivery along with global brand consistency through all guidelines and deliverables. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Creative Ops Campaign Programs * Lead project management from briefing to release of VM deliverables related to new product launches and seasonal in-store campaigns, working closely with Creative and Marketing leadership on all activities related to on-time delivery and creative best practice * Partner with the Executive Director of Visual Merchandising to allocate resources, asses and shift priorities, schedule programs, route and release artwork * Partner closely with Integrated producers on overall timeline management, risk escalation and solution proposals * Own and inform resource allocation meetings and cross-functional team status meetings as it relates to all VM deliverables * Ensure all aspects of all projects are captured upfront including budget and on-counter dates for all types of distribution (DS, Specialty Stores) and all VM units * Track design approvals and release for: Launch VM items, VM and Events Regional Guidelines, VM artwork Store Design Projects * Manage liaison with the regional team for A Doors Flagships projects * Manage approval and release process of: VM Guidelines, VM DTOs, VM Artwork * Track VM one-offs/ tests within Store Design pilots Global/ Regional Liaison * Attend bi-weekly meetings/calls with each region (6 total) * Manage regional requests: Request approvals with marketing, Assets design and release * Track approval process of regional VM guidelines and/or projects Meetings & Executive visits * Brand and Corporate meetings: Track deck execution, manage room set up * Executive visits: Manage with the regional and local teams the store updates including VM fixtures upgrade and special artwork requests RDDC – VM Items Development * Serve as the liaison between La Mer and RDDC NA * Work with Global Creative group to ensure timely availability of assets, visuals and copy * Set detailed, timetables considering design approvals, competitive bids, development schedules and in-store installation implementation requirements. * Manage offerings to the markets via IMW/GMW:Bulletin preparation and routing to Global Marketing; Get cost approvals from Marketing before posting – discuss design changes if costs are too high; Offering: track quantities, liaise with the Regions and Global Marketing to get all orders on time * Send final quantities to IP and GCT, get confirmation on final costs * Produce bi-weekly status reports, track progress, and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately Qualifications * At least 5 years project management experience leading large and small matrix teams and multiple projects in parallel.
