Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Computer Science

The School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position to begin in the fall semester of 2024.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

• Support undergraduate and graduate Computer Science programs by delivering core computer science courses, with particular interest in programming, artificial intelligence, and data science courses.

• Contribute to innovative curricular development activities.

• Participate in school and university-level services, including advising students.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a master's degree in a closely related field is required.

• A terminal degree and prior higher education level instruction experience will be preferred. ABDs will be considered but must receive the Ph.D. degree by August 15, 2024.

• We strongly encourage candidates from groups underrepresented in higher education to apply.
