Job Description:
The Department of Psychology invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology for the 2024/25 academic year. Successful candidates will have expertise in quantitative research; any area of research emphasis will be considered.
The primary instructional assignments will be in quantitative analysis, research methods, and experimental psychology, along with classes related to the candidate's area of expertise. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will advise students, be encouraged to involve undergraduates in their research and fulfill other faculty service responsibilities. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, mentoring, and student engagement, as well as service to the college and community. Appointment would commence in August 2024.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in Psychology at the time of appointment. Particularly strong candidates will have demonstrated past experience in teaching at the collegiate level in research-focused courses in psychology and have an ongoing, active program of scholarly activity.
