The Department of Economics at St. Olaf College invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2024. A second, part-time position may also be available at ⅚ employment (5 courses) with full benefits.
We seek candidates with experience and interest in teaching courses in introductory and intermediate economics. The successful applicant would also teach an advanced undergraduate elective course related to their field(s), which would be negotiated on hire. An ability to teach health care economics is preferred for one of the positions.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in economics is preferred, though ABD in economics with undergraduate teaching experience will receive full consideration.
