The Department of Art History at Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX) invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History for the 2024-25 academic year. The selected candidate will teach six total classes; the area of specialization is open.

We are interested in teacher-scholars able to teach broadly and effectively in their field at the introductory and intermediate levels. PhD or ABD required. Please send 1) a current CV, 2) a cover letter describing teaching experience and philosophy, research interests, and titles for potential courses, and 3) the names of two faculty recommenders to Allison Miller, Chair and Associate Professor of Art History, amiller@southwestern.edu.
