The successful candidate's primary teaching responsibilities will consist of Investigations in Mathematics (our liberal arts math course), Mathematics Fundamentals (our remedial course), and/or Calculus courses, but may vary due to the expertise of the chosen candidate. The teaching load is typically 24 credits a year. We invite the candidate to join the department for professional development opportunities through the BCTLE (Bedi Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence) and participate in departmental activities, but there are no research or student advising requirements.

Testify to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirm belief in the University's Statement of Faith, abide by and practice our Life Together Covenant, and both personally agree with and support the Foundational Documents of Taylor University.
Teach 24 credit hours of mathematics courses across the academic year, primarily those belonging to Taylor's Foundational Core, and/or a remedial course.
Hold 6-8 office hours weekly for students.
Participate in Mathematics Department activities with students as able.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
Doctorate of Philosophy in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Track record of excellent teaching.
Experience with Christian higher education, preferred.
Experience teaching Calculus (single or multivariable), preferred.
