Albion College invites applications for the Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy position. We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to a campus climate that supports equity, diversity, and belonging.
The Department of Philosophy is conducting a search for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2024-25 academic year, to begin in August 2024. This position requires a Ph.D. in Philosophy prior to appointment and a demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Interested candidates should have a specialization in ethical theory or applied ethics. A specialization or strong competence in philosophy of law is also desirable. The course load is three courses per semester, and the candidate will be expected to teach Contemporary Moral Problems, Business Ethics, and Philosophical Issues in the Law during the fall semester.

Ph.D. in related field by start of position
Teaching experience preferred
