Serco supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with with state governments to continue supporting eligibility determinations for consumers purchasing health insurance through the Federal Health Insurance Exchanges.
You will be part of a 30+ member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. The Manager of Computer Systems leads this team with over 20 years' experience managing teams across technologies and locations, holding numerous leadership and management positions responsible for network, infrastructure,yber security and IT communications (VOIP) supporting government and Military critical missions, U.S. and Global operations.
In this role, you will:
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and testing of application solutions in support of operational requirements and approved initiatives.
Perform day-to-day applications' maintenance; investigate and resolve incidents and/or change tickets for supported applications.
Remain current and learn new emerging technologies in information technology, and implement innovative solutions.
Evaluate and develop criteria, policies, and procedures for application quality control (e.g. testing, code review, version control, etc.)
Actively participate in Virtual Infrastructure technical support cross-training, and perform on-call duties as assigned.
Participate and lead outage response for conditions related to application service delivery and its components.
Provide technical support for Tier 2-3
Provide after-hours coverage and escalation support via rotating on-call and weekend rotation.
This position requires 5 to 7 years of experience
Experience with VMWare ESXi, VCenter, and Horizon View
Experience with Citrix XenApp, Receiver, Storefront, Director, and studio.
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Object creation, dissemination, and troubleshooting
Deployment of Windows patching and updates
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and desktops
Experience with Linux Command Line Interface to manage and troubleshoot the OS
Customer communication and service skills, you may have to interact with end users
Minimum 5 years' experience supporting, designing, or maintaining virtual infrastructure.
Excellent time management
A bachelors degree in related area is required.
