This position is responsible for:

  • Timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated

  • Gathering information and making sure all items needed are requested

  • Ordering and coordinating loan documents

  • Examining loan documentation for accuracy and completeness, verifying, and ensuring it complies with State and Federal compliance

  • Taking loan file from application to closing

  • Inputting proper loan information into the system for processing

  • Working with Mortgage Bankers, Residential Lending Advisors and/or production staff, third parties, and borrowers to secure all required documents

  • Working with Underwriters on loan approvals and loan exceptions

  • Performing additional duties/activities assigned by management

  • Following the provisions of the Gramm-Bliley Act and the Bank's privacy policy

  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality

  • Making timely and accurate decisions while thriving in a fast paced environment

  • Performing related duties as directed by manager

  • Working as part of a team

  • Working with onsite equipment

PREFRRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, 2 years mortgage origination or processing experience preferred; 2 years customer service experience, administration experience preferred; knowledge of all regulatory guidelines, conventional loan products and guidelines, and tax returns and financial statements, HARP and HAMP experience preferred, proven organizational skills, team player.

This occurs before, during, and after customer requirements are met. * Providing quality, efficient service to internal/external customers with regards to all retail loan products (mortgage. Equity, consumer and indirect) * Maintaining customer satisfaction ratings based on explicit criteria established by management * Using Northwest policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or escalating it to management when necessary * Ensuring customer satisfaction through warm transfers if unable to resolve in department * Achieving monthly call quality performance * Educating customers on products and services * Being responsible for utilizing Core Systems (Care, Signature, Nautilus, etc.) * Utilizing third party databases (Indecomm, State National, Experian, and Loan Protector to provide customers with one call resolution * Partnering with Voyance (translator service) in order to provide quality customer service to our non-English speaking customers * Providing Money Gram check clearing statuses to customer service, the retail branch network and customers as needed * Being responsible for identifying and providing descriptions to customer service, the retail branch network and external customers with regards to payment posting rejects * Providing customers with status updates with regards to receipt insurance policies * Providing customers with a detailed response with regards to escrow analysis * Providing customers with status updates with regards to receipt insurance policies * Assisting other areas of Retail Loan Servicing with special projects * Assisting customers with understanding interest calculations * Working closely with loss mitigation and customer service to set up ACH and ATS transactions * Partnering with attorneys, settlement agents, dealerships, the retail branch network and customers to provide accurate and timely loan payoff quotes * Processing transactions as they pertain to resolving Retail Lending concerns * Responding to work queues submitted through the Retail Offices within the established Service Level Agreement (SLA) * Adhering to all compliance and operational policies * Working as part of a team * Working with onsite equipment PREFERRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent; college degree in related field preferred; 2-4 years internal/external customer service experience preferred; prior banking/financial services experience preferred; proven organizational and communication skills; strong computer skills; exemplary team player qualities required.
