Job Summary
Responsible for providing direct clinical services; provides support to employees/leadership regarding work-related issues; participates in strategic planning for additional services or employer support; conducts EAP orientations, CISM debriefings and training.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides Life Resources Program orientations
Provides worksite and virtual trainings, webinars, health fairs, mindfulness, Lunch-and-Learns, and other related presentations on behavioral health issues and health promoting activities
Participates in behavioral health awareness campaigns
Respond to questions about program benefits, helping to connect members with resources; Promotes the program and ensures program satisfaction; Provides strategy support on program and service delivery
Provides short-term EAP counseling, if indicated
Provides critical incident services and debriefing in the event of natural disasters, deaths in the workplace, terrorist activities, threats of workplace violence, and/or other emergency situations
Provides on-site and telephonic risk assessment for employees in crisis
Provide coaching and consultation to leaders and supervisors, HRBP, LR/ER, and legal counsel and other stakeholders
Manage caseload of mandatory and formal referrals and provide guidance to medical staff, senior management, legal counsel, and other stakeholders on complicated cases where employee behaviors raise alarm about ability to work or perform safely because of behavioral health or substance use disorders
Provides support to employees upon return to work post disability/leaves
Coordinates with site contacts, including Human Resources and Occupational Health, medical leaders, and other stakeholders
Job Qualifications
Experience in work-related issues at a worksite
Sound clinical judgment, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Master's degree in a mental health discipline (counseling, social work, or other
related behavioral area) or doctorate for psychologists
5-7 plus years of post-graduate experience with established, clinically accepted treatments
A clinical license to practice in the state at the highest level of independent license granted by the state licensing board
Experience with crisis management, substance abuse and psychiatric case management
Demonstrated experience consulting with the highest levels of management in organizations and have a proven track record of sound clinical judgment applied to both employee cases and organizational needs.
Onsite EAP experience preferred
CEAP certification preferred
Active membership and/or designation from related professional organization preferred
