Job Duties:

1.Implement the faculty peer review system for assessing course quality including the development of a mechanism for review in adherence to the MOU, Virtual Campus rubric and best practices checklist.

2.Confer with the Virtual Campus Dean to identify faculty who teach asynchronous courses. Communicate with identified faculty and inform the process for faculty peer review as well as the timeline for completion.

3.Consult with AFT Vice-Presidents for the Virtual Campus to ensure all applicable aspects of the CBA are upheld and make recommendations for revisions or updates as necessary.

4.Identify and inform the appropriate stakeholders of the need for greater institutional support and resources in those areas that are lacking with respect to instructional design, development, and technological tools that enhance asynchronous teaching and learning.

Clearance: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College.

The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check. The College has provided instructions on how to obtain these clearances and are available here.
