Scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 10am-7pm. This position is required to work on-site in Greensboro NC.
Provide the Perfect Client Experience (PCE) by telephone, email or chat to external clients and prospects in an accurate, professional and courteous manner, while adhering to Bank policies and procedures. Identify, solicit, service, deliver and coordinate the delivery of a broad range of financial products and services (e.g., Deposits, BillPay, Zelle, U platform) for clients.
Responsible for creating mutually beneficial solutions to client needs, concerns and problems that deepen relationships with BB&T. Support the household attraction goals of BB&T.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Make proactive, daily contact with clients and prospects either by phone, email or chat to identify additional financial needs, initiate relationships, attract and retain new client households.
2.Deliver PCE to clients and prospects while ensuring first call resolution.
3.Maintain required performance standards in quality, productivity, attendance, promptness and identify client needs.
4.Ensure the security of client information and assist with minimizing Bank losses by performing client verification. Identify possible identity theft and fraud and escalate for client follow-up and risk mitigation.
5.Deliver on our value proposition through efficient and effective client service with an emphasis on low client effort.
6.Assess client needs and suggest products and services (e.g. deposits, retail payments, digital services). Open new accounts and ancillary services.
7.Suggest changes to improve communications and business efficiencies.
8.Embrace the BB&T Decathlon Sales Process, which includes, but is not limited to, the delivery of the PCE Service Standards, support of the BB&T segmentation models, full use of the automated sales process and support of referral processes and guidelines.
9.Stay abreast of changing economic, legal, compliance, general market and business issues impacting consumers and small businesses.
10. Participate in the on-going improvement and refinement of the BB&T brand, processes, products, services and operating policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Competencies:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1.Associate's degree, or equivalent education and related training
2.One year of progressively responsible experience in banking
3.Demonstrate a high aptitude for client relationship management and business development or equivalent experience in outside sales and/or relationship management
4.Clearly demonstrate the ability to rapidly learn and obtain a working knowledge about deposit products and digital platforms
5.Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a demonstrated aptitude for sales
6.Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
7.Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment in this role, including new or transfer of registration, and applicable NMLS acceptable background check
8.Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
9.Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
