Job Duties
The V3 program consists of an employer/company assessment, training, and support program; and a certification program as prescribed by the Code of Virginia § 2.2-2001.2. This position will work primarily in the VA Department of Veterans Services (VDVS) Headquarters Office in Richmond Virginia, the region service area consists of Central and South West Virginia. With limited supervision, the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Regional Program Manager will supervise, direct, plan, and coordinate multiple and diverse programs required to position the Commonwealth to better address the employment opportunities for Virginia' veteran population. The V3 Program Manager will serve as the regional lead for industry-specific resources, employment, transition, and specific demographic support as directed
Minimum Qualifications
Additional Considerations
Experience in social services, business, public administration, education or combination of education and job experience. research, public policy, public administration, business, or related field or equivalent experience. Additional Considerations: Prior project management or leadership experience. Prior public speaking experience.
