Reporting to the staff Video Producer at US Communications, the successful applicant's responsibilities will include:
Assist the team in developing new video concepts and ideas.
Write/edit scripts for marketing, training, and internal messaging videos.
Run camera and film different video segments on-location and in-studio when needed.
Organize and log video files in Premiere Pro project files.
Perform first-pass edits on all types of videos.
Edit video content to turn raw footage into seamless video products under tight deadlines.
Review cuts with clients/stakeholders/producers and incorporate comments to create a strong product that serves the underlying goals of the production.
Produce final videos for release, ensuring strict standards to compliance and legal requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Current undergraduate or graduate student studying journalism, video production, communications or related field required.
Strong writing skills.
Ability to operate various types of video camera/audio equipment.
Demonstrates capability for skilled video editing.
Proficient in using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe Media Encoder.
Exceptional time management skills.
Excellent computer, word processing, desktop publishing, and researching skills.
Collaborative and team-focused with the ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Manages time and priorities efficiently, shows enthusiasm, and allows for flexibility.
Interest in construction is preferred.
How to Apply:
This position is primarily located in an office setting but will occasionally be on a construction site
This is a paid, full-time internship.
Candidates need to be willing to cover living expenses if not located in the Denver area. No housing/travel stipends are available.
