On-call Videographer needed for all HD digital production facility.
The On-call Videographer will be responsible for shooting, delivering, and archiving high-quality HD content for Howard Community College's Television Station (HCC-TV) both for the college's internal communications and broadcast. This could include productions on and off the college campus. He/she must have a creative eye and expert knowledge in composition, exposure, and depth of field, as well as in the operation and set up of all equipment, including microphones, lights, and cameras needed for recording sit-down style interviews, ENG-style interviews, and b-roll. The On-Call Videographer must also be able to shoot for continuity-style editing and obtain b-roll appropriate to a subject. He/she will need to manage multiple tasks under pressure, have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and must be capable of working well independently, as well as in a collaborative setting.
This job requires a flexible work schedule including non-traditional hours and weekends as needed. The On-call Videographer must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional television production work experience.
Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant experience shooting for broadcast in a recognized facility.
Working link to samples of work and/ or demo reel is required.
Advanced field and studio camera operation experience; familiarity with Panasonic HVX200 and HPX255 are preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of lighting techniques and grip equipment.
Ability to record high-quality in-camera audio using a variety of microphones.
Experience with digital asset management software applications preferred.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Work Schedule: On-Call
Compensation: $18.00 per hour. This position is overtime eligible for hours worked over 40 in a week.
