The VTC Engineer II will provides audio bridge phone numbers in combination with a web conferencing application to deliver content electronically between event participants.. The role will participate in projects for the Meeting Management Technology (MMT) Services and support their mission to enhance organizational effectiveness by linking all Coordinating Centers and Offices and CDC/ATSDR sites with each other, and with various other Federal agencies and public health partners through the development of high quality, reliable, audio, web and video conferencing services as well as local in room conference audio visual support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, support and troubleshoot Audio and Web Conferences

  • Utilize and administer dedicated MMT Audio and Web Conferencing scheduling applications.

  • Provide customers with the set-up, management and troubleshooting of Premier level audio and web conference services.

  • Contractor will serve as Audio and Web Conferencing Systems Enterprise Systems Administrator and back up to the Audio/Web Lead

  • Utilize CRSS to monitor daily Audio and Web Conferencing support schedules and ad hoc requests.

  • Support CSC staff and other third-party vendors to resolve connectivity issues.

  • Provide Audio and Web Conference customer application training.

  • Research and recommend emerging audio and web technologies.

  • Coordinate with other vendors to schedule large events.

  • Support new emerging web conferencing platforms as implemented that include web based.

  • Research, implement, schedule, and troubleshoot emerging virtual conferencing technologies

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Technical discipline

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience supporting AV/VTC services

  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and manage time appropriately
