What You Need for this Position

Enterprise Video Security Systems Installation, Programming, and Servicing (IP and analog with networking, and VMS experience)
Enterprise Access Control Systems Installation, Programming, and Servicing (including the installation of electric door hardware, cutting in strikes, panic hardware, maglocks, coring doors from lock to hinge, etc.
Alarm Intrusion Systems Installation, Programming, and Servicing Intercoms, Telephone Entry Systems Installation and Servicing.

Position Overview This position is responsible for ensuring compliance through effective management of the Customer Complaint process. This position will be responsible for managing personnel and maintaining all activities associated with customer complaints, adverse event reporting, and post market surveillance. The Product Surveillance Manager will work closely with the Technical Support, Medical Safety, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, Commercial, and Service groups to identify, process, and investigate customer complaints, as required by global medical device regulators. Main Areas of Responsibilities * Demonstrated knowledge and application of medical device adverse event reporting requirements including 21 CFR 820 & 821, IS013485, 1801497, Canadian Medical Device regulations, Australian TGA regulations, European Medical Device Directives, ICH/GCP guidelines and other international standards preferred. * Strong technical knowledge of supported medical device and combination product lines * Knowledge of the Adverse Event Reporting, Complaint Investigation, CAPA, and Field Corrective Action processes. * Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal and regulatory body audits, as necessary * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and lead cross-functional teams. * Strong Leadership. Ability to influence without authority. * Effectively supervise and mentor complaint handling personnel and may act as the first level of support for the team as well as internal customers for complaint handling needs. * Set a good example for all employees in performance, attendance, dress, and professionalism * Ability to mentor employees on individual development plans and goal setting * Ability to develop and monitor development goals in alignment with company metrics * Establish and maintain a post-market surveillance program and effectively incorporate into the risk management and design control processes. * Establishes and ensures maintenance of complete complaint files and records according to established procedures and requirements. * Experience with communicating customer complaint related metrics to management and cross functional teams, as necessary * Interfaces with Product Support, Service, Medical Affairs and other groups on a daily basis to drive timely completion of complaints * Develops, coordinates, and ensures appropriate training for the team and internal customers, as applicable * Leads efforts to continuously improve the global complaint handling process. * May communicate directly with customers regarding escalated complaints * Ability to handle restricted, confidential, private, or personal information in accordance with departmental policies, HIPAA, and related international standards. * Applies systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating and resolving complaints * Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple project workloads. * Demonstrated ability in Project Management. * Ability to review, analyze, summarize, and interpret data; draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations and decisions, write reports; and give oral presentations. * Ability to be flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed. * Performs any additional duties as needed * Experience with trending and analysis reporting. Requirements * 3 to 5-year experience supervising teams, preferred * Minimum of 5 years of experience in FDA regulated medical device manufacturing environment(s). * Demonstrated knowledge of QSR, Canadian MDR, 13485 and 14971 and all other international regulatory requirements with which Allergan complies. * Problem solver. * Self-directed. * Competent using office software including Database management, MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other database applications. * Keep abreast of industry and regulatory trends * Ability to function in a cGMPs controlled environment regulated by the FDA and other competent authorities. * Ability to travel to meetings and professional seminars.
