The Video Producer/Editor will concept, produce, shoot and edit engaging and informative video content for Beautycounters digital and social media channels. Our ideal candidate is both creative and logistics minded, skilled at handling multiple projects at once, in a fast-paced environment, and will have instinctive storytelling skills as well a deep understanding of social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Snapchat. Working alongside the Creative and Marketing to produce a range of videos, this role will be crucial in promoting the brand, and connecting customers with our products and mission with meaningful and entertaining content.
In this role you will:
Create, develop and produce innovative digital video programming and marketing content across a variety of Beautycounter channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) on a regular basis.
Create sizzle reels, pitch reels, case studies, marketing pieces, and day-to-day social videos for both internal and external stakeholders.
Manage all aspects of project development, pre-production, production and post, including writing, shooting, editing, motion graphics, selection of music, and editorial.
Shoot a variety of styles of original and branded content, in the field and in the studio, including documentary pieces, commercial-style shoots, short-form video and long-form videos.
Manage and execute internal shoots, including setup of small insert studio and all production equipment.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously from concept through execution.
Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Contribute towards building Beautycounters video identity.
Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred
Proficient in Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere, Creative Suite, audio mixing, lighting, and color correction/finishing
1-5 years of professional experience creating digital video content in a collaborative environment for a platform, agency, network, or brand. Show example links and/or reel.
Experience writing video treatments, outlines, and scripts.
Experience shooting and producing high quality videos in a one-man-band capacity.
Experience directing / working with high level talent.
A high level of skill in motion graphics, animation and proficiency in an industry standard animation platform like After Effects is a bonus.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of/experience with creating social content and knowledge of the related specs and drivers of success for social content.
Knowledge of the latest trends in mobile and digital video.
Social media and culture fanatic who keeps up with the newest #innovative content out there.
