We're currently seeking a video intern to join us in our New York City office for three days per week for 3 months. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role assisting in all facets of video production for our growing channels for everything from recipes and cooking techniques to travel, home, and lifestyle stories. This is a paid internship.
Organizing footage, projects and creative assets for our video content
Assisting in editing and adjustments to Premiere projects on an as-needed basis
Building stringouts of footage and setting up Premiere projects for the video editing team
Exporting videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other channels according to the desired specs for each
Maintaining metadata for videos on YouTube and JW Player
Assisting with server maintenance
PA'ing on various video shoots both in and outside of our studios
What you'll learn:
How video serves the needs of all the different parts of our unique business, including recipe, sponsored, travel and commerce content
A deeper knowledge of digital video spacehow to create content for it, strategies for distributing it, and how to keep it all organized while scaling production
Tips and tricks from our experienced (and fun!) team of editors and producers
And probably a thing or two about cooking that you never knew!
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (and have maybe dabbled in After Effects)
Understand digital video and the different forms it takes across platforms
Desire to jump in and learn about all stages of video productionfrom ideation through the final export
Excited about problem-solving and contributing your ideas
Cheerful, solution-oriented attitude under pressure
