The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Video Board Coordinator to support the Athletics Video Services unit.

The Video Board Coordinator Responsibilities include: providing exemplary customer service to internal and external constituencies; overseeing and directing video board productions for home games across multiple sports, including but not limited to: volleyball, field hockey, wrestling, and baseball; collaborating with internal units including athletic teams, marketing and promotions, and Virginia Sports Properties to enhance the game day atmosphere and fulfill sponsored elements at home games by shooting and editing promotional materials, show opens and pump up videos, and other content, as needed; assisting with other video board and ACC Network productions as may be needed throughout the year; providing highlight coverage of the aforementioned and other teams for external distribution; ensuring adherence to NCAA, ACC, and University policies.

VIEW JOBS 11/12/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-10T00:00 The Department of Pediatrics, Pediatrics Administration, School of Medicine, seeks multiple Medical Education Coordinators to provide administrative support to the department's education team as well as to departmental faculty. The incumbent is responsible for providing a high level of efficient and accurate administrative services within the departmental education function as well as to individually assigned departmental faculty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with fellowship recruitment, scheduling meetings, preparing travel arrangements, telephone reception, assisting with creating PowerPoint presentations and transcription, and ordering office supplies. This position also assists other staff in the department during absences, increased volume, etc. Medical Education Program Coordinators participate in the planning, preparation, and implementation of programs, daily operations, and educational activities for a small to medium sized programs. They are responsible for the same duties as Medical Education Assistants, however, they operate with additional authority, independence, or level of complexity. Beyond basic administrative duties, Medical Education Programs Coordinators develop materials, coordinate calendars, engage in accounting processes, interact with educational program participants, and ensure compliance with relevant national organizations to maintain high standards of programs. They perform work independently but receive assignments and direction from supervisors and Program Directors. Minimum requirements for this position include a High School Diploma or equivalent along with a minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience. The candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills; the ability to work accurately with attention to detail; the ability to maintain confidentiality; and must have working knowledge of medical terminology.
