Job description The Machine Learning VP/GM is responsible for expanding the group and is a high-growth business. The successful candidate is competitive, resourceful, creative, and analytical.

The role will work across all major functions at Marvell, including Marketing, PR, Sales, Engineering, Design, Human Resources, and Business Operations to grow our new business lines. Qualified candidates will possess the following Bachelor's Degree in EE/CE/CS/SE MBA Preferred Advanced Degree in Technical/Engineering Field a plus Candidate will have at least 20 years' experience in the Semiconductor Industry Candidate will have at least 8 years' experience in the Networking Infrastructure Markets Candidate will have experience as a General Manager responsible for financial and operational execution for new technology in the industry Ideally, candidate will have experience with AI/ML related work. Qualifications Sought:

In addition to relevant experiences, candidates will be evaluated upon a set of competencies: Results oriented with focus on P&L: The successful candidate will be a "doer" and a "thinker". This candidate will show hands-on leadership while also reflecting a thoughtful and deeply strategic nature.

This candidate will directly lead an organization, including marketing, business development, IC and SW Engineering and Architecture. They will be responsible for driving the roadmap, as well as product design and development and delivering a strategy. They will be expected to work closely with the BU controller, as well as operations leadership and their respective teams, the sales organization and the respective HR partner.

This candidate will have demonstrated the ability to execute on a strategic plan they have developed with operational efficiency. Additionally, they are expected to provide updates and metrics to executive leadership that will drive continued investment in the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence space. Team Leadership:

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, initiative oriented and identified as an industry leader capable of organizing, recruiting, retaining, motivating and developing a high performance, high collaboration team across multiple disciplines. The successful candidate will be approachable while treatingall individuals with the same level of respect. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to grow the skillset and performance capabilities of a team through external recruitment of top talent, but also through internal development and mentorship.

Collaboration and Influencing: The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear ability to positively influence while working closely with a variety of functions and roles - internal and external, within the BU, and across other BUs, with customers and partners. This candidate will show the ability to create and maintain strong organizational relationships based on mutual trust.

This candidate will be practiced in the art of communication and be capable of interfacing at the most senior levels of management, external and internal. This candidate will also educate the executive leadership team on key industry trends. It is expected that this candidate will have developed a wide and deep network of technical andnon-technical talent, as well as substantive relationships with external consumers, partners and OEM customers. Finally, the successful candidate will excel at working closely with internal executives in creating and executing to a plan for rapid growth within a new business.

In this role you will define / architect complex Custom/ASIC products focusing on Embedded Processors, DSP, Graphics, and/or general purpose microprocessors. We need an expert in the areas of RTL design, Synthesis, static-timing closure, formal verification, gate-level simulations and block-level function verification. - Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. - Excellent communication skills to interface internally and externally with all levels of the organization and to participate in problem solving and quality improvement activities. - Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills. - Has an inherent sense of urgency and accountability. - Must demonstrate initiative and a bias for thoughtful action. - Grounded, detail-oriented, always backs up ideas with facts. - Must have the ability to define problems, issues and opportunities, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from various datasets. - Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. - Must have: - MSEE or equivalent required with 7+ years of experience in RTL design of submicron SOC products (eg: Microprocessor based SOC's). - Experience in Micro-architecture for the complex Custom/ASIC products focusing in any one/more areas: Embedded Processors, DSP, Graphics, and/or general purpose microprocessors. - RTL design experience, Synthesis, static-timing closure, formal verification, gate-level simulations and block-level function verification. - Hands-on experience for all aspects of chip-development process with proficiency in front-end design tools and methodologies is a plus. - Preferred/Optional: - Experience in designing high speed (>1 GHz)/high-performance embedded processor SOC products is a plus. - Experience in implementation/timing - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and UNIX shell, etc. is desirable.
