Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and influence a compelling and innovative compensation and benefits strategy for Envista Holdings aimed at attracting and retaining our exceptionally talented, diverse workforce spanning 50+ countries.

  • Oversee all reward programs, including the design, planning, implementation, administration, compliance and communication of base salary compensation, variable compensation, equity programs and benefits at all levels, including executive compensation.

  • Create and deliver progressive approaches to compensation and benefits that will attract, retain, and engage a diverse and empowered global workforce.

  • Continuously evaluate compensation, benefits, and mobility programs to ensure they align with the company's business and talent strategies including the promotion of equity and fairness through transparency.

  • Develop and continuously improve compensation infrastructure and processes; establish metrics to monitor impact and effectiveness.

  • Assist business unit HR Relationship Leaders and other teams with best practices for compensation in both union and non-union environments.

  • Establish, communicate, and deliver globally effective health and welfare benefits, well-being plans, retirement plans, and ancillary benefits that are market competitive, cost efficient, and meet the needs of our employees across the globe.

  • Ensure all global compensation, benefit and mobility programs and processes meet the local legal and compliance requirements of the locations in which they exist.

Leadership

  • Serve as the strategic advisor and thought partner to the CHRO and Executive Leadership team in the areas of compensation and benefits.

  • Partner with CHRO, CFO and CEO to ensure alignment of Total Rewards with business objectives and work with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

  • Provide active leadership to the Total Rewards team, focusing on growth and development of talent and ensuring the right skills, behaviors and capabilities for performance and impact.

  • Develop collaborative partnerships throughout HR and with finance, IT, and business line leaders across the enterprise to ensure the effectiveness of compensation, benefits, well-being, and global mobility programs.

  • Manage, coach, and develop staff to deliver programs, lead talent development for the Total Rewards community and architect rewards and recognition curriculum throughout the Company.

  • Drive effective team member communications on reward programs and processes.

Job Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing and successfully leading global total rewards program development and implementation across matrixed and highly diversified teams in a public company.

  • Superior understanding of the components of a successful global compensation program, as well as the ability to design and implement innovations within a collaborative environment.

  • Strong builder of cross-functional and line manager relationships. Able to connect and advise at the most senior levels within the business, while confident enough to "push back" in an intelligent and thoughtful way when necessary.

  • Proven history in developing innovative approaches to compensation to meet business challenges across a diverse employee population.

  • Talent for articulating case for change (near-term, in context of long-term plan) to refine designs, build holistic solutions, galvanize support, and implement efficiently.

  • Experience leading total rewards during company transformations (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or integrations).

  • Demonstrated ability to attract, manage, and develop a high performing team; ability to influence team, peer, and executive behavior without direct authority.

  • A minimum of 15 years human resources experience, including a minimum of 8 years managing a global total rewards team at scale.

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Human Resources or Accounting; an advanced degree preferred.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
