The Vice President, Strategy and Operations will lead and oversee the Client Success team, while ensuring all aspects of client management and operational growth are met. Your commercial mindset and hands-on approach will ensure that strategic objectives are aligned with the company vision and goals, focusing on driving retention and expansion. You will work cross-functionally to drive the business forward with responsibilities that span high-level strategy to day-to-day business operation tasks. This individual will look for ways to improve productivity, streamline strategic initiatives, develop cross-functional execution plans, identify success metrics, and effectively communicate progress against company goals. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with other executives throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will be able to mentor, lead, and inspire an established customer success team and partner with key stakeholders across the organization to foster an ongoing culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.

As a Vice President of Strategy and Operations you hold a high-level leadership position within the organization, responsible for overseeing and driving the overall success and satisfaction of the company's client base. Here's an overview of your role:

What you'll do:

  • Strategic Leadership: You provide strategic direction and leadership for the client success function, setting overarching goals and objectives aligned with the company's mission and vision.

  • Team Management: You lead and manage a team of client success managers and specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure they deliver exceptional service and achieve their goals.

  • Client Relationship Management: You maintain relationships with key clients, acting as a strategic advisor and advocate, understanding their business needs, and ensuring their satisfaction and success.

  • Client Growth & Expansion: You identify opportunities to expand our services and revenue with clients. In collaboration with the CCO and sales team, you design strategic approaches and help lead client conversations to reach desired outcomes.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs and company offerings, driving customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Performance Monitoring: You track and analyze key metrics related to client satisfaction, retention, and growth, providing insights to leadership and guiding strategic decision-making.

  • Process Improvement: You continuously assess and improve processes, tools, and resources related to client success, driving operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Client Advocacy: You cultivate client advocates who can provide testimonials, referrals, and case studies, helping to attract new clients and strengthen the company's reputation.

  • Executive Reporting: You provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on the health of the client portfolio, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Thought Leadership: You stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to client success, serving as a thought leader within the organization and the broader industry.

  • Customer Success Culture: You foster a culture of customer success within the organization, emphasizing the importance of client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy in driving company growth and success.

  • Responsible for keeping PHI and systems private and secure.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience: Advanced Degrees are preferred

  • Operations-focused and a passion for revenue growth, as well as service excellence

  • Strong understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models

  • Attention to detail with the ability to project manage, set priorities, and stay organized when managing multiple internal and external relationships

  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external clients as part of a solutions-based team

  • 10 years of experience in an operations role and at least five years in a Senior Leadership capacity.

  • Demonstrated success in creating creative and practical solutions to increase employee productivity and maximize profitability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Successful track record in building and expanding relationships with healthcare providers and health plans.

  • Experience with EMR Integration

A Few Benefits We Offer

  • This position has a minimum salary of 170,000. This salary is a good-faith estimate for this position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
