As a Vice President, Strategy, you'll be a voice for Javelin and in the industry, one who speaks confidently and credibly, externally and internally. In our data-driven world, you'll create innovative approaches based on customer insights and analytics that lead to valued customer experiences. You've seen more patterns, have a rich capacity for convincing a client, and a finely tuned ability to integrate disparate ideas.
Your toolkit is deep and eclectic: you'll be doing customer journey workshops one day, an independent analytics project the next, helping shape agency IP, preparing for a client strategy session, and all while writing provocative think pieces. No two days are alike and you'll work with a variety of clients, agency partners and colleagues on multiple projects, all focused on deliverables that motivate target customer segments to engage with our clients' brands. We're looking for a mature mix of skills: research, communication, insight, presentation and management.
What you'll do:
Lead the account planning and strategy for one of the agency's largest accounts, driving the use of customer insights and analytics to create an ownable strategic framework for leveraging insights to build our client's brand
Provide industry thought leadership on telecommunications marketing as an author and a speaker within our industry, for our clients and for the agency
Demonstrate a solid understanding of client business strategy, products, competitors and industry standards
Serve as day-to-day client advisor, using excellent communication and strong presentation skills internally and with clients of all levels
Oversee the strategy on complex omnichannel engagement programs, from comms and channel planning to development to execution to evaluation
Inspire ideas based on knowledge of new and emerging channels and provide strategic rigor to the implementation of ideas
Counsel clients on strategic business opportunities, providing strong recommendations on project and partnership priorities
Demonstrate strong understanding of digital and social platforms, trends and measurement approaches with an insatiable pursuit of continuous learning
Apply innovative research methodologies to drive customer insights for our clients' brands
Collaborate with the creative, technology, analytics and account management teams and more, to add value to all client relationships
Engage and take a lead in business development efforts
