Position Overview:

The Vice President, Social on the Brand Marketing team is responsible for turning brand strategies and insights into successful social and digital campaigns, growing our global footprint, delighting our audiences, and driving fan culture by focusing on reach, engagement, community, and awareness KPIs (in addition to some consideration in the middle funnel) across multiple organic touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead on all organic social marketing - drive strategy and voice for organic social, community, talent social and influencer efforts.

  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional marketing team (including Originals, Films, Sports, Brand planning and Publicity) to drive awareness and engagement with our portfolio of content.

  • Oversee development and production of original social series and repeatable formats across the social media landscape.

  • Supersize our audience on the brand handles (social and You Tube) and advise and engage with marketing team on any show handles.

  • Serve as audience expert, driving growth of consumer/fan awareness, community groups, and influencers.

  • Manage all social reporting, and keep larger organization appraised of social progress.

  • Inspire, drive, manage and mentor a large full-time team and agencies.

  • Collaborate with paid social to super-charge prospecting/retargeting efforts.

  • Develop and support partnerships with key platform and agency partners; use industry expertise to look for new opportunities and engagements.

  • Partner across marketing team and larger organization to drive collaboration, efficiencies, and creative excellence.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in brand, content or growth marketing within media, technology, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, travel, or an advertising agency.

  • 5+ years' experience in social media marketing, driving, and building strong consumer engagement with a track record of discovering and leveraging cultural trends, moments, and conversations within social media and culture, creating innovative strategies that deepen consumer engagement and awareness uniquely.

  • 5+ years' direct experience building and running a large team, including experience mentoring junior, mid- and senior-level team members.

  • Deep understanding of social platforms and their respective audiences with a particular expertise in launching successful new social channels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Laser-focus on meeting both consumer needs and business goals with a record of impressive KPI growth in past roles.

  • Deep understanding of the fast-evolving digital content and social space, including best practices and what's next.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior executives and peers across a highly matrixed, fast-paced, innovative, and highly energetic corporate culture.

  • Ability to thrive in situations reacting in real time to social/viral conversations and trends as well as tight deadlines and fast-moving parameters.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional PowerPoint, written and verbal communication skills.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $230,000 - $270,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
