WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Vice President of Sales, OEM, will report to the EVP, Sales North America and will lead a dynamic and experienced professional team offering a comprehensive portfolio of lubricant solutions for Initial Fill and Genuine Brand Lubricant Programs to OEM and Tiered supplier customers across the transportation, construction and agriculture sectors, and others. The VP Sales, OEM will lead the regional OEM division for the Americas, act as a key member of both the North American Executive Sales Leadership team and Global OEM Steering Committee, while participating in various global initiatives within the FUCHS Group. This position does require significant travel, primarily within North America with some travel globally. The VP's main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and refine cohesive commercial strategies for OEM markets, including automotive, commercial vehicle, and off-highway. Work with other Divisional Sales VPs, country Managing Directors, Global Business Segment and Product Management on the implementation of these strategies.
Lead a unified sales division utilizing cross selling opportunities, while maintaining a common view from the customer perspective.
Align and coordinate global business segments strategy and objectives with regional business strategy through active participation in corporate planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Use the sales organization's performance management system to make sure the division is attaining profitable growth as well as achieving critical performance KPIs.
Assess skill level of regional OEM Division team members and define training concepts and structures to promote growth (both technical and selling skills).
Network both within and outside the FUCHS Group to achieve the best possible local and group performance, especially within our Global OEM Division.
Collaborate with other functions in the business to promote further success in the OEM Division and add value to our customers
Prioritize and drive strategic projects.
WHAT WE EXPECT
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, science, engineering, or technology
Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management in a business to business (B2B) environment
Self-starter who can effectively lead and develop a highly capable team
OEM first-fill and aftermarket sales channel and relationship management experience preferred
Sales Management experience in technology driven/ value added products is preferred
Expertise in lubricants, chemical, or automotive industry is a plus
Experience in managing in a multi-divisional/multi-market matrix organization
Strong interpersonal, communication and intercultural skills
Strong service, consulting and customer orientation
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel
