Our client, a managed services and cyber security company in Pennsylvania, is looking for a VP of Sales & Business Development to join their team. As the VP of Sales & Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in the Managed Services and Cyber Security sector. Leveraging your expertise in Incident Response and previous MSP experience, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to acquire new clients, foster channel partnerships, and drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration objectives.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, with a focus on selling Managed Services and Cyber Security solutions, particularly Incident Response.

  • Lead and mentor a team of inside and outside sales professionals, providing guidance and support to drive sales performance and exceed goals.

  • Utilize innovative approaches to offer value-added services and differentiate our offerings in the market.

  • Build and nurture channel partnerships to extend our reach and enhance our service offerings.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and campaigns that support sales objectives.

  • Drive the successful launch of new services to market, leveraging your proven track record in product/service development and commercialization.

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to sell and close deals, with a focus on driving new logo sales and expanding our customer base.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development roles within the Managed Services and Cyber Security industry, with a focus on Incident Response.

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive market environment.

  • Previous experience in leading and managing a high-performing sales team, with a focus on both inside and outside sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including channel development and partnership initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience collaborating with marketing teams to drive sales enablement.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.

  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
