Due to exciting growth within the Credit Risk group at Barclays, a new opportunity has presented itself and will provide someone with the opportunity to lead, develop, and optimize acquisition strategies that will drive resilient growth of the Barclays US portfolio.

What will you be doing?

The Risk Analytics VP position provides project specific leadership in optimizing acquisition strategies to drive resilient growth of the Barclays US portfolio. This includes evaluating various data sources to optimize underwriting and line assignment processes. You will manage manual underwriting processes, strategy implementation and validation, and partner level performance tracking for both internal and external reporting.

What we're looking for:

  • Four-year college degree in quantitative discipline required (ex. Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • 10 years analytical work experience in a financial services company required

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Graduate studies in quantitate area, Masters or PhD preferred but not required

  • Strong communication skills & ability to work independently

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

  • Project management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment

  • Proficiency with analytical software (e.g. SAS), SQL tools (e.g., Oracle), Unix platforms, Knowledge Seeker, and MS Office required
