Overview

The Vice President, Revenue Maximization is responsible for the overall leadership, development, deployment, and measurement of company-wide strategic and tactical revenue management initiatives. This individual will assist the Chief Commercial Officer provide direction and support to the Corporate and Property teams to maximize revenue (RevPAR and RevPAR Index) profit and market share through hands-on leadership of all revenue management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct leadership for the revenue directors, managers, and analysts responsible for maximizing the NOI for the entire EOS portfolio.

  • Analyze the market trends, demand forecast, and competitive landscape to create a comprehensive commercial strategy for each asset in partnership with the key stakeholders to maximize the NOI for the entire portfolio.

  • Deploy the commercial strategy with the cluster and regional revenue management director and/or manager.

  • Champion the EOS commercial guiding principles and ethos.

  • Train, mentor, and guide the revenue management team on developing the commercial strategy in accordance of the EOS guiding principles.

  • Partner with the commercial operations team to develop a comprehensive plan to monitor the accurate execution of each strategy.

  • Review the outcome of strategies and tactics to iterate for improvement if necessary.

  • Communicate the strategies, tactics, and measurement of success to all key stakeholders, including ownership and asset management, on an ongoing basis.

  • Participate in weekly commercial meetings with key assets.

  • Partner with the wider commercial leadership to drive cross-functional initiatives.

  • Evaluate the performance of the revenue management personnel on an on-going basis.

  • Lead the development of the business plan, including the underwriting of pro forma and the commercial strategy, for all transitions and onboarding of new hotels.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the top line revenue for the entire portfolio.

  • Develop and implement forecasting methodology for accurate and timely forecasts.

  • Design company standards in revenue management and distribution in partnership with the commercial operations team.

  • Subject matter expert in all revenue management systems, BI, benchmarking, and intelligence tools.

  • Develop and deploy a standard suite of reporting to relevant stakeholders.

  • Perform any tasks assigned by the Chief Commercial Officer

Required Qualifications

  • A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • Experience with both branded and unbranded hotel platforms strongly preferred.

  • Superior skill required with Duetto, StayNTouch, and Opera. Experience strongly preferred with RMS, RoomMaster, Demand360, OTA Insights, ProfitSword, Sabre, and Pegasus.

  • Relationship management and account management skills. Negotiation and escalation management experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping them organized and meeting deadlines.

  • A problem solver - able to define problems, identify trends, and draw conclusions.

  • Ability to proactively plan and propose new opportunities.

  • Displaying professionalism at all times and exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.

Salary Range for this position is $230,000 to $250,000 annually.
