PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a Vice President, Revenue & Market Leader who has a thorough understanding of professional services and maintains a robust network of business leaders within the region. This key leader must be driven to put their "stamp" on the growth of our company and lead in a manner that will ignite a team of senior level sales and business development professionals towards achieving exceptional results. In alignment with RGP's global vision, they will need to inject an energized, collaborative spirit, a disciplined sales approach and a supportive leadership style as they interface with broader cross functional teams to position RGP for sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Accountable for the profit & loss of the sales function within the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets
Establishing goals and objectives for the assigned markets in support of enterprise and regional vision, goals and objectives
Developing and implementing tactical plans to achieve established goals and objectives, and holding sales team accountable for results
Collaboratively developing and implementing an investment strategy for assigned markets and market segments
Mentoring, training, and coaching sales team in alignment with evolving market needs
Drives top-down definition of business development plans for assigned markets/market segments, including engaging with sales team to execute on sales processes, defining success criteria and metrics, and capturing improvement opportunities from sales team
Executes cross-functional initiatives associated with change management, while holding sales team accountable for achieving goals and objectives
Fosters an environment of cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across the markets
Communicates and interacts effectively with all levels and functions of the enterprise
Manages the planning, forecasting and budgeting process for assigned markets
Integrates enterprise and revenue initiatives and key success metrics with market sales strategy
Establishes a best-in-class sales organization within markets in partnership with talent, business operations and the individual contributors of the market(s)
Removes obstacles of success and motivates the team to a high level of performance
Mentors sales team by directing and monitoring their sales efforts, resolving client and consultant issues as needed, and addressing internal sales process issues
Develops and monitors sales plans, budgets, and expense control and manages the team to a portfolio of relevant performance metrics
Reviews SOX and related control reports on periodic basis
Develops and maintains effective relationships with external customers, partners and industry influencers to drive sales growth within the market and continually develops new client business
Cascades best practices across the organization
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
10+ years proven success in a sales leadership position with multi-region and P&L responsibilities
Strong track record of leading high-performing sales teams with client portfolios comprised of the Fortune 500 / 1000
An entrepreneurial spirit derived from experience building and/or transforming a business
Ability to present with a level of expertise and credibility to the C-Suite
Excellent interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage and motivate people
