Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company's R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Vice President of Quality is accountable for all aspects of Quality, including GMP, GCP, and GLP compliance, and Quality Systems and related areas of quality. The Vice President will be a recognized authority and partner on quality issues, and will collaborate to drive practical, compliant solutions and scale the organization to support late-stage development and global commercialization.

The Opportunity:

  • Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy for RevMed quality.

  • Be an advocate in senior management for quality representation, budgets, and visibility.

  • Ensure all areas of quality are adequately resourced and appropriately focused.

  • Establishing a patient focused Quality Culture and sustaining a program that engages all functions at RevMed to strive for a culture of quality internally and a reputation of excellence externally with our patients, investigators, and our regulators.

  • Ensure effective quality infrastructure is in place for late development and global commercialization.

  • Set policy and strategy for RevMed quality, including approach to outsourcing, and partnering (quality agreements).

  • Grow, motivate, and develop staff at all levels.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of quality, including the development and administration of policies and practices that address quality issues throughout the organization.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline such as chemistry or pharmaceutics.

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 10 years management in GMP and/or GCP quality enabling end-to-end drug development and post launch.

  • Proven track record of leadership and people management.

  • Hands on experience in the development, establishment, management, and defense of Quality systems, both internally and externally.

  • Experience with small molecule development, including pivotal trials, inspections, and commercialization.

  • Ability to build consensus among colleagues with an appropriate level of flexibility, while employing sound judgment and good sense, and maintaining a focus on results and goal attainment.

  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, EMA, as well as other relevant US and international regulatory requirements. Broad understanding and experience in GxP and quality principles and industry standards.

  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills, as well as effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Some travel required.

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role will require that the employee meet with company employees and work from the company's offices. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.

The expected salary range for this role is $265,000 - $350,000. An individual's position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
