Mastercard's North American Loyalty team provides best in class Loyalty programs for its clients in both the Financial and Merchant segments, focusing on Platforms, Rewards, Features and Benefits, Cardholder Communications and Loyalty Services. With its unique category expertise, experience, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in managing Loyalty Programs, MasterCard North American Loyalty team addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances MasterCard's strategic and tactical performance and establishes MasterCard's global thought-leadership presence in the Loyalty segment.

The Vice President of Issuer Program Management will lead the Issuer Program Management team, responsible for the day to day activities of, and interactions with, Mastercard's North American Financial Loyalty clients.

The primary responsibilities of the Vice President of Issuer Program Management, a professional experienced in client interactions and Loyalty programs, include:

  • Overall supervision of Mastercard's North American Loyalty Program Effectiveness in the Financial Segment, including:

o Client relationships

o Strategic Planning

o Financial performance

o Marketing Planning

  • Supervising a team of team of individuals responsible for the success of Mastercard's Loyalty programs for each of its Financial clients

  • Supervising and managing internal and external relationships to help drive effectiveness in Mastercard's Loyalty and Core businesses

  • Leveraging experience, expertise and Mastercard's assets to develop holistic solutions applicable to client issues and interests

  • Driving thought leadership, and establishing Mastercard as a leader in the Loyalty space

All About You:

Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred

  • Experience leading high performing teams

  • Advanced Payments and Loyalty experience recommended

  • Experience in developing and fostering customer relationships as a trusted partner

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to frame opportunities from a customer's perspective

Additional Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and sell to a large client or cluster of clients

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills along with solid project management credentials

  • Experience with Financial Institutions

  • Proven track record in cross company, collaborative teaming

  • Practical, yet creative and innovative

The Wealth Management (WM) Conduct Risk Team, a group within the WM Risk Organization, is responsible for leading efforts to implement a framework to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate conduct risks and is seeking to hire a Vice President to join the team. The Conduct Risk Team currently has five full time employees reporting into the Head of Conduct Risk (an Executive Director). The candidate will primarily be responsible for developing controls and/or processes to detect and mitigate conduct risk within WM and will involve collecting and analyzing data and information, creating reports and metrics for senior Risk, Field and Executive Management. The candidate will also be required to run various Governance meetings and serve as Secretary (create agendas, document minutes etc.) for various supervisory governance and risk meetings. The role will involve working with a broad range of stakeholders and business partners within Wealth Management including working with the Global Head of Conduct Risk, Legal, Litigation, Special Investigations Unit, Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk and Control Teams, Field Management, Service, Technology, among others, across the Firm. Primary Responsibilities: The VP candidate will report directly to the Head of the Conduct Risk Team (an ED) within WM Field Risk and Supervision Group. The individual will work closely with the Head of the group to develop a supervisory framework to detect and mitigate Conduct Risk issues identified across WM and in close collaboration with the Data Analytics team to create a more effective model for predicting regulatory and conduct risks. The candidate must have strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytics skills. He/she must be able to analyze complex data sets and simplify for presentation and communication to Senior Management. Tableau experience preferred. As conduct risk issues are identified, the candidate will conduct fact finding interviews, where applicable, with Branch/Complex Management, Risk Officers, Financial Advisors, Client Service Associates, and other Branch personnel. The individual must be able to partner with external department heads to address deficiencies identified related to supervisory procedures or systems. The candidate must be successful in driving strategic projects and initiatives (front to back), execute project plans, and communicate effectively to report on key risk metrics and key risk indicators. The candidate must have a strong regulatory and/or audit background, FINRA, SEC and/or NY FRB experience a plus, strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to take complex information and simplify for communication and presentation to Senior Management. The individual must be a self-starter, a problem-solver and creative, with a strong commitment to Firm and client guardianship. The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and become involved in a diverse set of issues and have a direct impact on the future success of the group.
