Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

The PGS Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing, and Operations will lead a PGS team responsible for developing and implementing a growth-oriented and comprehensive enrollment plan for the College of Professional and Graduate Studies. This individual will work closely with the Chief Academic Officer and the Vice President for Academic Affairs for the College of PGS to align operational, recruitment, marketing, and academic program strategies to further University objectives in a comprehensive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) in collaboration with the President's Senior Leadership Team to set and execute all strategic enrollment and marketing goals for PGS and effectively communicate enrollment plans with the Board of Trustees Committee on PGS.

  • Collaborate with the PGS VPAA in developing and implementing new programs and academic support initiatives.

  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership for all facets of PGS enrollment, marketing, and operations.

  • Lead and support directors, assistant directors, and their corresponding teams.

  • Collaboratively lead and support a highly functioning, diverse, collaborative team with on-campus and remote employees.

  • Provide strategic integrated enrollment and marketing plans and develop forecasts for enrollment growth.

  • Assess, adapt, and create systems to enhance enrollment growth.

  • Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) on all initiatives in support of enrollment growth and student services.

  • Work with direct reports to hire, train, and supervise PGS employees, including regular performance evaluations.

  • Work with all to shepherd a positive, Christ-like, servant-oriented culture with a growth mindset that reflects University and PGS values.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene.   • Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of five years of related work experience and/or relevant training.

  • Ability to set and achieve specific enrollment/recruitment objectives through collaborative, accountable teamwork.

  • Experience developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, including proficiency in traditional and digital marketing channels such as OTT, OOH, social media, email marketing, search engine management (SEM), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and content marketing.

  • Experience implementing lead generation strategies for non-traditional programs and converting leads into matriculation. This includes designing lead capture mechanisms, lead nurturing tactics, and optimizing conversion funnels to improve enrollment rates.

  • Experience utilizing analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and enrollment initiatives while analyzing enrollment data, campaign metrics, and ROI to identify areas for improvement, maximizing the impact of marketing spend and resources.

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills to create and implement innovative ideas and to achieve growth targets.

  • Conducts market research to identify trends, competition, and opportunities for growth. Including demographic data, student preferences, and market demand to inform enrollment and marketing strategies.

  • Strategic thinking ability and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful marketing and enrollment management experience in adult Christian higher education.

  • Experience in building a flourishing culture for a remote team.

Supervision Received:

  • Receives supervision and work assignments from the Chief Academic Officer.

Supervision Exercised:

  • Will supervise the directors associated with enrollment, marketing, and operations.
