We are looking for an experienced and energetic VP of People and Business Strategy to head up our people operations. The role will manage all aspects of human resources and business strategy to ensure our team has an exceptional employee experience. The VP of People and Business Strategy serves as a culture champion and will work with senior leadership to ensure we are maintaining a company culture that allows employees to thrive and do their best work.

Responsibilities

Voice of CFG HR as an Effective Business Partner

Be an active Sr. Leader by understanding the needs of the business

Demonstrate high level business partnership at the Sr. Level

Build "buy in" to HR vision from the functional leaders of the organization

Be a steward of CFG Culture

Be an advocate for our Team Members

Voice of Company to Team Members

Talent Management

Provide coaching to direct reports on tool development

Ensure team is a trusted expert by business leaders for all human capital issues

Educate and coach HR team towards new vision

Bringing insights and recommendations around Talent Acquisition

Ensure that compensation, professional development, recruitment and retention programs are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and goals

Talent Challenger - always raising the bar

Ensure the right performance metrics are in place for team members

Ensures that HR department is proactively leading efforts to meet the evolving Human Capital needs of the individual departments within the company

Performance Management

Ensure team is aligned to execute vision throughout the business

proactively seek feedback from Stakeholder group

Lead Talent Action process throughout organization

Ensure effectiveness of all high level programs

Identify and implement Best Practices (through collaboration)

Ensure Change management for all human capital issues (i.e. Span of Control implementation)

Prioritize key Human Capital initiatives / issues to address according to business needs

Establish and ensure Organizational development cadence (comp reviews, performance evaluations etc.)

Leader for Talent review process. Is aware of internal talent pool and is catalyst for appropriate developmental moves

Accountable for any non-compliance issues in Human Resources

Strategic direction

Set vision for Human resources in conjunction with Sr. leadership

Develop organizational vision

Engage with external resources to Seek out best practices in Human Capital Management

Provide visibility to management team regarding external best practices, with recommendations

Lead cross-functional teams in short and long term Human Capital planning

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required, Advanced Degree preferred

At least 10 years of progressive management experience is required, minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources

Proven Leadership Ability is required

This highly visible position will be based out of our headquarters facility in Hatfield, PA (Suburban Philadelphia). In addition to our Pennsylvania operations, Brooks maintains manufacturing locations in, Hungary, and Korea. The Company also maintains sales offices throughout the world. Our products are used in laboratory and process applications in end markets such as: life sciences, chemicals, semiconductor, analytical instruments, nuclear, and solar cells. Basic Function The Product Manager's role will be to enhance Brooks' market participation, sales and profitability for the assigned products by managing the basic marketing mix. He or she will also work with the Industrial sales channels to identify target customers, applications, markets, etc. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Monitor and assess customer's expectations for products and services. * Identify and understand emerging applications for Brooks' products. * Identify and understand emerging markets for Brooks' products. * Translate customer's needs into specifications for Brooks products and services. * Manage projects; work closely with engineering, operations and quality to bring to market products and services that meet customer's requirements. * Monitor the competitive environment to identify threats and opportunities. * Implement pricing strategies to maximize Brooks' opportunities for penetration and profit. * Optimize product cost position using various Toolbox activities for offering rationalization and basic product design/process cost reduction. * Work with Corporate Marketing Communications to implement promotions in support of the product strategies and develop appropriate sales collateral. * Develop sales support and training materials to enhance effectiveness of all selling activities. * Work with sales and with customers directly to understand needs, support major account activity, maintain product awareness and provide training. * Travel to support above duties and to support trade shows (Less than 20%). * Learn and apply continuous improvement philosophies including but not limited to the ITW Toolbox and drive and contribute to activities that support related projects. * Learn ITW 80/20 principles, tools and techniques and actively apply them on a daily basis. * Ability to get along in a team environment and follow all safety procedures. * Maintain a clean and safe workplace. * Other duties as assigned, including working in other departments when needed. Education & Experience * BS in business or engineering required. MBA preferred * 5-7 years of related experience. * Knowledge and understanding of industrial systems and processes, ability to understand and communicate technical information and an understanding of marketing responsibilities including product portfolio, price, promotion and distribution is preferred.
