Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the Vice President of Sales for Lifestyle Footwear is responsible for the companys wholesale business development strategy and revenue generation for Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s Footwear. As part of the wholesale leadership team, the VP of Sales is responsible for managing a team of direct and indirect reports.
Building strong internal cross functional relationships as well as managing external relationships with wholesale partners is vital to success. ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for wholesale distribution and revenue generation in Lifestyle trade channel. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Establish and manage sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics providing regular feedback to leadership. Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship. Collaborate cross-functionally with Consumer Creation, Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure alignment and integration of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with strategic wholesale partners. Optimize effectiveness of sales initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sell-through. 50% travel to account base, trade shows, and internal meetings . QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. 10 years of relevant experience in the lifestyle/ athletic industry. Proven track record of successful leadership in footwear sales.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion. Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Visionary leadership style with focus on fostering a collaborative and results driven culture Knowledge of global athletic footwear market and a passion for sports and lifestyle trends. Domestic and international travel required. LOCATION This is a Hybrid role based in Fila USA’s NYC office. COMPENSATION The range for this role is $225,000-$250,000 bonus
