As the Vice President of Regional Sales - North America, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our company. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll play a crucial role in defining and executing our sales objectives. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that Mews achieves and exceeds its growth targets while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

Team Management

  • Manage 1st line managers and experienced individual contributors across the SMB and Mid-Market segments

  • Manage resource planning, spending and allocation within the regional sales team - including setting and monitoring regional targets and budgets.

  • Drive better integration and alignment between revenue-related functions, including marketing, sales, and customer support.

  • Inspire and motivate the regional sales team to achieve their targets, holding team members to a high standard of excellence and accountability.

  • Own ultimate oversight & leadership of the North American regional sales team, including recruitment strategy, retention, management, success and personal development.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with the North American GM to develop and execute the North American business strategy, including sales forecasting and prospect management.

  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with key prospects and customers

  • Drive senior-level sales and negotiations, consistently exceeding personal and team targets.

  • Collaborate with our Senior leadership team to identify and establish key strategic partnerships and cross-functional relationships across the SMB and Mid-Market segments.

Data-Driven Insight

  • Use forecasting strategies by monitoring the sales pipeline and analyzing historical data to understand meaningful trends, risks & opportunities within the business

  • Analyze market trends, develop competitive strategies, and collaborate with various departments to optimize pricing, product development, and customer satisfaction.

  • Use data and in-depth industry knowledge to identify new opportunities - including new markets, partnerships, products, sales channels & customer segments

  • Stay well-connected with customers to ensure market needs are being incorporated into our product development

Company & Industry Leadership

  • Work with CCO to optimize team efficiency and performance of the teams through strong operational management across team, process and workflow. This includes revenue management, CRM, cross-functional collaboration and customer success.

  • Work with the marketing team to establish a clearly differentiated and data-driven commercial positioning and go-to-market strategy.

  • Report to the board on a monthly and quarterly basis, maintaining accurate updates of sales against target

  • Maintain a presence within the industry, representing the business globally on stages, in the press and in important rooms.

  • Be a senior figurehead within the business, working with our Marketing team to secure relevant speaking & commentary opportunities

️ You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you;

  • 10+ years in sales experience with minimum 5+ years managing high-performing sales teams within a SaaS organization.

  • Progressive sales leadership experience especially with high-growth sales teams

  • Experience building and managing sales strategy including messaging, metrics, methodology, and tools

  • Possessing a strategic, curious, persistent, entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of a fast-growth start-up environment

  • Experience managing and closing both transactional, as well as more complex sales cycles, along with an ability to demonstrate ownership of all aspects of a sales pipeline

  • Experience in SMB/Mid-Market sales within the SaaS industry

  • Demonstration of ability to interact and ultimately influence C-level executive and senior team members

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

  • Strength in problem-solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

  • Holistic thinker, excellent problem solver, communicator, stakeholder manager and public speaker
