The Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Performance Improvement (PI) at St. Francis Hospital reports to the Chief Medical Officer and is responsible for the administration of all programs and initiatives relating to quality, including publically reported and commercial quality metrics, and serves as a resource for Process Improvement throughout the organization, while ensuring full compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will plan, organize and direct the following functions including, but not limited to:

Abstracting data for reporting to Federal, State and accrediting agencies to include:

  • Core measures abstraction and validation (inpatient and outpatient), The Joint Commission and CMS

  • Abstraction and validation of data submitted to PCI, Open Heart, TAVR, ICD and CMS Carotid Artery Stent registries

  • Abstraction and validation of data for submission to NYSDOH and to AHA Get With the Guidelines

Assisting with data analysis and data display to:

  • Assure timely and complete submission of data to the above registries

  • Develop high level reports and scorecards for Hospital and Medical Staff leadership

  • Organize and prepare data for use in Focus and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation by Medical Staff

  • Directs a comprehensive Performance Improvement/Patient Safety Program

Position Summary: The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing brand and market strategy. Front facing to Senior Leadership, Hospital Presidents and Service Line dyads. Functioning as the brand strategic leader responsible for setting and executing brand, marketing & digital strategies as well as building and managing the organizational infrastructure to enable the hospital entities and service lines to deliver on their value proposition and strategic imperatives. Specific responsibilities include brand, business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; maintaining Agency relationships, hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of marketing staff and maintaining overall marketing budget for the system. Responsibilities: * Create the brand strategy, tactics, and policies and procedures * Oversee the brand building, behaviors and compliance efforts of the system and individual entities * Responsible for partnering with SVP for Agency selection, performance management and ongoing relationships * Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals * The Vice President of Marketing will oversee the Marketing team that has primary responsibilities in the following areas: * Brand platform, voice and architecture * Market growth * Marketing campaigns * Channel management * Media strategy * Digital advertising * Social media strategies * Search engine marketing * Optimize online user experience * Identify digital, web and CRM trends and opportunities * Print flyers/promotional materials * Event promotion * Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis, utilizing findings to efficiently influence strategy and tactics * Provide leadership, direction and management of consumer and market research needs * Create an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting capability that can track, measure and analyze performance * Provide marketing skills and expertise by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of innovative and responsive thinking that allows the organization to sufficiently differentiate itself, grow market share and brand positioning while meeting/exceeding the necessary marketing and organizational objectives * Maintains compliance with company policies, practices and procedures * Provides primary leadership and direction for the marketing operations, ensuring appropriate collaboration with Hospital Leadership, Service lines, Physician Services Group, IT, Operations, Finance, and Corporate Affairs Requirements: * Requires a bachelor's degree, in business, marketing or health-related field. An advanced degree in business, health administration or marketing is preferred * Requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive marketing leadership experience, and a minimum of ten (10) years of executive leadership * Proven skills in brand development and management * Minimum five (5) years of digital experience * Proven experience in consumer/market segmentation, and CRM solutions * Previous multi-site health system marketing experience * Broad marketing & digital leadership experience in multiple environments * Strong track record of leadership and delivering tangible results * Experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations * Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing strategies * Skilled in all areas of marketing design.
