Reporting directly to and working alongside the President, this position plans, directs, and coordinates operations in support of multi-companys success and growth. Provides leadership to managers and directs long term strategies and day-to-day operations of assigned departments.
PrincipalResponsibilities:
- Strategic plans, goals, and priorities of operations-related departments
- Provides senior leadership to technology initiatives and Ecommerce marketing ventures
- Responsible for ensuring the proper plan, execution, and continuance of all necessary duties related to business operations in fulfillment and customer service departments
- Provides guidance and leadership support for department managers and supervisors
- Responsible for employee structure, expense analysis/control, efficiency, and security of departments
- Directs and executes the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and processes to meet the needs of the organization
- Assists departments in acquiring and understanding data necessary to make business/department decisions
- Plans, directs, and executes building/construction projects to facilitate growth and expansion
- Oversees relationships and contracts with key third-parties in order to maintain the most beneficial and cost effective services
- Administers and controls the workforce, fulfillment, customer service, technology and Ecommerce marketing budgets to contribute to a cost effective operation
- Coordinates with company President and other department heads to develop and execute the corporate strategies and goals; translates these strategies and goals to the departments in order to ensure cohesive team functionality.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in business-related program
Three years management experience with human resources, finances, and operations
Experience in executing marketing strategies
Knowledge and experience with business technology hardware and software
Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Excel and other Office applications, and data analysis tools
Strong knowledge of vital operational data and ability to understand and analyze data in order to make decisions
