Job Description:

The Vice President of Market Operations is primarily responsible for maximizing market growth within their respective market. This role will direct and oversee business services including analyses of cost and operations to determine progress toward goals and objectives. Additionally, this role will oversee staff operations, business planning and budget development while providing efficient use of resources.

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing 15+ dental offices and has the business acumen necessary to make high-level strategic decisions, yet is also detail-oriented and comfortable being highly present in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieves revenue targets, annual budgets and strategic business goals for multiple locations across a broad geographical area.

  • Develops and implements plans to ensure revenue and budget objectives are met, expanded on, and actively follows through on them.

  • Ensures flawless execution of operational standards, and ensure services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.

  • Analyzes financial trend data and takes action on areas of opportunity. Balances operations costs accordingly.

  • Recruits, hires, and develops Managers capable of building teams that provide best in class patient care.

  • Directly supervises Office Managers within the district.

  • Proactively manages performance including but not limited to coaching, performance appraisal, corrective action when appropriate and rewards. Ensures a succession plan exists for their district.

  • Communicates with Office and Dental leadership on a regular basis to ensure they have the information and support they need to do their jobs.

  • Ensures office compliance with established company policies, procedures, and standards and government regulations.

  • Shares best practices with offices in his/her area and with peers and supervisor.

  • Leverages market advertising, marketing and sales to best advantage within district.

  • Personally maintains highly productive relationships within the offices.

  • Proactively engages with providers to build strong relationships while supporting them and ensuring their success.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in dental management in a district operations role managing a budget and P&L

  • 5+ years' experience successfully managing multiple locations

  • Proven ability to get results; a self-starter that sets aggressive goals and meets them

  • Demonstrated ability to execute consistently and with a high degree of quality

  • Successful track record of identifying, selecting, developing and retaining talent

  • Proven ability to diagnose, analyze, and solve business problems, quickly moving from concept to action

  • Demonstrated ability to manage change

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees

  • Proven financial acumen

  • Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Has the primary responsibility for establishing and ensuring clinical patient care standards are achieved in a cost-effective manner. Establish nursing services consistent with the overall hospital values and goals. Has the authority and responsibility for meeting the bottom lines of quality and financial performance for the areas of accountability. The position also has matrix responsibility for all nursing positions throughout the hospital to ensure that appropriate standards of care are met. ?? **Position will oversee 662.53 FTEs and 418 beds** Medical/Surgical Inpatient Units include Liver Disease, Dialysis, Cardiovascular Telemetry, Surgical, Transplant, Oncology, VIP Unit, Hepatology, Medical, Cardiology, Rehab and Orthopedics. Minimum Requirements Education: Master's Degree Minimum Experience: Must have a minimum of ten (10)years experience in progressive management roles, or the equivalent, with a sound knowledge of clinical nursing, management, and quality enhancement Position Responsibilities 1. Participates in hospital's decision-making processes by collaborating with leaders from the governing body, health system management, hospital leadership council, medical staff and clinical areas in developing strategic plans, budgets, resource allocation, operational plans and policies 2. Leads nursing leadership in the development of a nursing mission, vision, philosophy, strategic plan congruent with the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic plan. 3. Mentors and Develops managers and staff to assume leadership roles both formally and informally, via role modeling and facilitating staff participation in a shared leadership structure. 4. Directs patient care team effectively as team leader and change agent 5.
