Location: Bowling Green, KY Our client is currently seeking a results-driven and strategic Vice President of Operations to join the team and lead operational optimization, cost analysis, and revenue growth initiatives. This position will be essential in shaping the company's strategic direction and ensuring long-term success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in operations management, and a talent for generating new business through building relationships with key businesses.Responsibilities:

- Conduct a thorough review of current costs and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and increased operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize spending, improve profitability, and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze existing pricing strategies to ensure alignment with market standards and company objectives.
- Generate new business opportunities by meeting with potential clients through business dinners, entertainment events, and/or golf outings.
- Lead the team in shaping the company's strategic direction and collaborating with the leadership team on key decisions.
- Minimum of 5 years of operations leadership experience within the trucking/logistics industry; aluminum and sales experience is a plus
- Experience in operations leadership with a proven ability to drive financial outcomes and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong track record of optimizing costs, increasing revenue, and shaping strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
