Overview
The Vice President of Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of branch services, personnel performance and office management. The VP of Operations ensures the branches continually meet federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding the certification and licensure process. This role will support the company's strategic initiatives and success for service execution.
This role will oversee the home health branches in Utah along with the home health branches + (1) hospice branch in Colorado.
The person hired for this role must reside in Utah or Colorado or be open to relocation. Regular travel across the regional coverage area is required (up to 75%).

Responsibilities
Oversees of the day-to-day operations of branch services, personnel performance, and office management. Ensures the branches continually meet federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding the certification and licensure process. Supports the company strategic initiatives and success for service execution.
Qualifications
Must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school, or a master's degree from an accredited therapy school.
Must have demonstrated experience in health service administration with at least five years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Must have at least five years demonstrated experience in direct management for a large, multiple-site Medicare certified home health or hospice.
Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing the operation of a home health or hospice.
Must not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
Must have intermediate demonstrated technology skills.
Education and experience, preferred
A licensed physician, licensed social worker, or a licensed nursing home administrator with at least five years of management and supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of a clinical degree.
Management experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of direct Medicare experience.

Requirements
Must possess a valid state driver license
Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
Must be able to obtain licensure in each state within the assigned territory.
