This role oversees the day-to-day operations of Fulfillment Centers, people development and operations objectives for the Fulfillment Center's Inbound, Outbound, and Logistics areas. Responsible for managing and leading a team of Directors, Managers, and Supervisors, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Centers.

  • Oversee order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, transportation and inventory management for all Funko products in the United States

  • Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan

  • Ensure compliance with specified contract metrics, operational, and personnel activities in the fulfillment centers, and maintains high standards of operational activities, introducing a lean manufacturing concept where applicable.

  • Develop an annual operating budget and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters

  • Responsible for operations and managing best practices with a strong emphasis on production efficiencies and asset utilization; ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a profitable manner

  • Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations

  • Will set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers; measures performance, provides feedback, and holds Directors of Operations accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments

  • Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and the various Fulfillment Centers

  • Collaborate internally with key leaders to establish proactive communication, build operational efficiencies and lead operational initiatives to drive business value

  • Responsible for effectively managing third party contracts and relationships in the areas of warehousing, transportation and technology

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

  • 15+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or fulfillment centers, preferably in a distribution environment

  • 5+ years' experience in a senior leadership position in a fulfillment center required

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, motivational, analytical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

  • Six Sigma certification is preferred

  • Demonstrated negotiation and management leadership skills

  • Strategic material management and procurement experience with managing high volume transaction of technology parts and forecasting needs / requirements in order to maximize volume discounts with key partners

  • Ability to develop and monitor production strategies and performance metrics

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities and demands

  • Understanding of budget development and monitoring with knowledge of P&L for all operations

  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and Lean techniques

  • Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations

  • Flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays

  • Experience in managing/developing a contingent workforce during peak seasons

Responsibilities * Directs claim activities for Property and Casualty product lines. * Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures for claims handling and proper servicing and settlement of all Property and Casualty claims. * Reviews major claims or claims that require a higher level of authority. * Provides technical claims oversight and support and frequently develops and implements claim standards. * Develops and manages Property and Casualty claims staff. * Recruits, selects, orients, hires, coaches, counsels, disciplines and evaluates performance of team managers, adjusters, and support employees. * Sets performance objectives and monitors and appraises employee performance based on objectives. * Communicates and enforces ethical business practices and compliance with laws and regulations of jurisdiction. * Maintains product quality through compliance with service standards and client instructions. * Responsible for auditing files and training of less experienced staff, including Team Managers. * Establish and oversee clear objectives to Team Managers with respect to open case inventory with proper and timely closing and billing of files. * Assigns work ensuring balanced workload for employees in District Hub. * Establish and oversee clear objectives with respect to billed and unbilled inventory processes to meet business unit Days Sales Outstanding objectives. * Monitors accounts receivable to encourage positive cash flow and to minimize aged accounts receivable. * Establish market presence and identify revenue opportunities.
