The VP of Finance is responsible for ensuring finance involvement in the development of the organizations’ strategic direction. Provide insight into the business environment and the wider financial context.

Identify opportunities that will have a positive impact on value creation for the business unit. The VP, Finance supports business units to raise standards in key operational and strategic areas by: Interpreting, explaining and driving finance performance within the business unit.

Advising on key business planning, trade-offs and opportunities Presenting a dynamic industry, competitor and economic context Essential Responsibilities: Play a leadership role in supporting the development and execution of business plans by providing financial insights on business performance and advising on the best course of action. Develop strategic partnership with the senior leadership to become a trusted advisor; educating, supporting and challenging where appropriate to drive the business agenda.

Drives decision making by working with integrated teams, including analytics, to provide commercial insights that will support informed decision making, managing volatility and maximizing profitability. Contribute to the reporting process by providing business nuance and insight, and through review of financial reports (P&L / Balance Sheet reports etc.) / regulatory reports as required (statutory / tax / other) Make strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership based on thought-provoking and sound analytics, both proactively and in response to requests Convert complex organizational initiatives and multiple data sources into visually compelling stories for executive and leadership presentations. Significant involvement in Scenario Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.

Challenge and review of management accounts, plans, budgets and forecasts to provide decision support and direction. Drive project and investment appraisals based on acceptable criteria i.e. IRR, NPV, Payback, and Risk Profile in addition to monitoring cost / benefits analysis post project implementation Identify emerging themes, analyze relevant data from both internal and external sources, and communicate recommendations to team leadership.

Ensure compliance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements across different entities. Challenge central functions to provide more efficient and cost-effective f services to the Business Closely follow-up macro-economic developments and assess their impacts towards the business and provide guidance on how to navigate. Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives for the US Wholesale Business Oversee and manage working capital to optimize liquidity and cash flow within the US Wholesale Business Develop strategies and initiatives to enhance working capital efficiency and minimize financial risk.

Leverage ERP systems to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making. Act as a strategic business partner to the business leaders Provide financial guidance and analysis for new business opportunities, product launches, pricing strategies, and investment decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and business development activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred. Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in commercial financial leadership roles Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Demonstrated experience in strategic financial decision-making and driving business growth. Experience working in a multinational company. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with Shared Service operational accounting teams to ensure reliable financials and reporting.

Proven expertise in working capital management and optimizing liquidity. Working knowledge of ERP systems Ability to adapt to new software and technologies as required.
